The lovely medieval town of Domfront is about 1km, and has all the amenities - shops, restaurants, banks etc. Not far away is the well-known spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne with it's lakes and restaurants - great for a day out. The TGV to Paris can be found at Laval, approx 1 hr by car. Caen and it's ferry port - approx 90 mins.
